Frozen Beef
Rocky Mountain Custom Cuts ships our product frozen to assure quality meat cuts that can go directly into your freezer for use throughout the year. Ninety percent of people that buy unfrozen beef, bring it home and freeze it. Our meat processors vacuum pack product and then flash freeze the meat so it is as close to fresh as you can get when you thaw and open your package for your eating pleasure.
We ship our beef using dry ice or gel packs in a state-of-the-art freezer bag that can be re-used and stored easily in your home. We try to avoid large cumbersome foam boxes that are usually thrown away and clutter our landfills.
Please use caution when handling dry ice;
dry ice should never touch bare skin.
When thawing frozen meat, do not use a microwave, put the frozen meat in your refrigerator the day before, then slowly thaw in a sink of warm water. Quickly thawed meat will make it tougher and have an effect on the flavor.
Flat Rate Ground Shipping
Flat rate ground shipping is our most economical way to purchase your steaks, roasts, specialty beef items and lean ground beef. RMCC will determine the best delivery option based on the destination and delivery day of the week. Deliveries will be made within One Week of your order. RMCC will send you an email notification of the estimated time of arrival. Delivery of your order can range between 1 to 2 days prior to your estimated delivery date, so it is important to be looking for your items during that period of time. This shipping option requires a little more lead time and delivery acceptance flexibility than our One and Two day shipping options.
United States Postal Service (USPS)
Rocky Mountain Custom Cuts offers the option to ship using United States Postal Service (USPS). RMCC will use guaranteed next day (Express Mail – Next Day) shipping during warm weather months and guaranteed 2nd day shipping (Express Mail – 2 Day) during cold weather months.
USPS will not require you to be home for delivery, so please anticipate the arrival of your package so you can transfer your meats directly to your refrigerator or freezer, depending on your desired use. Vacuum packed meats are designed to keep items from spoiling, Meats delivered warm or with seals broken, should not be eaten and RMCC should be notified immediately, toll free, at 1-877-754-4606.
You must supply RMCC with a physical address; NO P.O. BOXES will be accepted.
UPS & FedEx Shipping
Rocky Mountain Custom Cuts offers the option to ship using UPS and FedEx. RMCC will use Guaranteed Next Day shipping during warm weather months and Guaranteed 2nd Day Shipping during cold weather months. Customers in a 400-mile radius of our shipping center will receive UPS Next Day Ground Shipping throughout the year.
