Environment
At Rocky Mountain Organic Meats, we believe that what’s good for the land is good for our livestock. This, in turn, is good for the people who consume our products. That’s why we farm and ranch organically. The livestock raised by Rocky Mountain Organic Meats graze in certified organic pastures. They are allowed to roam free and are treated humanely. We know that it’s important to feed our family foods raised the way that nature intended, without harsh pesticides and herbicides and petroleum based fertilizers that do little to build up the soil. We believe that healthy land stewardship helps build and maintain health soils, water supplies and ecosystems with a self-sustaining balance crucial to the future health of our environment, an environment that we want our children and their children to enjoy.

Arapaho Ranch
The majority of our cattle reside on this 600,000-acre Ranch located in the middle of the Wind River Mountain
range in Central Wyoming. The Ranch has always strived
to maintain a healthy and sustainable ecosystem, using
grazing simply as a tool in its integrated resource management
plan. Our cattle share the Ranch land with all of Mother Nature’s creations
including grizzly bears and Yellowstone Wolves. Each member of the Ranch
staff understands the delicate balance that nature requires for each species
to survive and thrive. Our Ranch Mission Statement: “ Every
step on the Ranch should be taken so that anyone who comes
behind is unaware of those who went before.” |
